Our Roots

JingForm = 景 + Form. 景 (Jǐng) recalls Jingdezhen, the city that gives our project its starting point. Form is what draws us to an object: its outline, surface, and place in everyday life.
JingForm is a curated ceramics retailer. We bring together traditional references and contemporary studio selections, making room for different makers and styles under one name. We choose pieces for their character and share details about their maker, material, and method when those details can be verified.
Why Jingdezhen?
Jingdezhen has a long history of porcelain production, shaped by raw materials, kilns, specialised skills, and exchange with the wider world. In 2026, UNESCO inscribed the Jingdezhen Handicraft Porcelain Industry Sites on the World Heritage List. The inscription covers five historic component areas, not the entire modern city or every ceramic made there.
That history gives us a reason to look closely at the objects we use today. A cup or bowl can carry a story of form and decoration, but each piece also deserves to be understood on its own terms.
